Stair lifts and porch lifts
When a ramp won't fit, a lift can. We help you choose and install the right one for your stairs and entry.
- NJ-registered contractor, insured
- Free home visit
- Medicaid, VA & private pay

Options we install
- Stair lifts for straight and curved indoor staircases.
- Vertical platform lifts, often called porch lifts, for entries where a ramp would be too long.
- Sturdy handrails on both sides of the stairs and better lighting.
- Slip-resistant treads and level thresholds at the top and bottom.
Choosing between a ramp and a lift
A ramp needs a lot of length for each inch of rise. If the yard or driveway can't fit one, a platform lift takes up a small footprint. We measure both options at the free home visit and explain the trade-offs in plain language.
Who pays
Lifts can be covered by some Medicaid long-term care plans, NJ DDD through Acumen, New York waiver programs and VA grants for eligible veterans, depending on the person's plan and evaluation. We also work with private-pay customers.
Questions people ask
Is a porch lift better than a ramp?
Not always. A ramp has no motor to maintain, while a lift fits where a ramp can't. We'll show you both options for your home.
Can a stair lift go on a curved staircase?
Yes, curved stair lifts are custom-made for the staircase, so they take longer to arrive than straight ones.
