Accessibility statement

Our goal

We build homes that work for everyone, and we want our website to work for everyone too. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

What we've done

• Text alternatives for images, clear headings and labels, and full keyboard navigation with a visible focus outline.
• Color contrast checked against WCAG AA, plus a high-contrast mode, larger text and reduced motion in the Accessibility menu.
• Read-aloud and voice typing in the help chat, and plain-language writing throughout.
• Large touch targets for phones, and forms that work with screen readers.
• We test pages with automated tools (axe) and by hand before changes go live.

• Call or text 929-442-2707. Texting is deaf and hard-of-hearing friendly.
• Relay: dial 711, or call through your video relay service.
• We can bring an ASL interpreter to your home visit, and provide large print or read documents aloud. Just ask.

Known limits

Automatic translation is done by Google and may not be perfect. Some documents uploaded by others, such as program PDFs, may not be fully accessible. Ask us and we'll provide them in a format that works for you.
